Doug Mitchell, founder of Insurancequotes2day.com has been a licensed life insurance agent since 1995.

Doug began his life insurance career as a representative with Horace Mann Insurance Company focusing on educators. While at Horace Mann, Doug was consistently one of the top agents in the company and also earned the Life Agent of the year award.  Later he moved on to work with New York Life Insurance Company insuring business owners, professionals, and their families.

In 2005, Doug founded Ogletree Financial to offer his clients more options from many companies. By expanding the number of carriers available, he could better tailor the needs of his clients.

Doug graduated from Auburn University with a degree in finance. He is a Top of the Table member of Million Dollar Round Table and earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation through the American College. He also served two years as president of the Auburn-Opelika Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Doug stays abreast of the latest trends in the insurance industry with daily reading, conversing with colleagues, and maintaining his knowledge with consistent continuing education.
